Dear Malcolm, this was an amazing sailing trip that really exceeded my expectations.
The crew is amazing and created a very enjoyable atmosphere that makes you want to stay on the boat forever.
Thank you very much Malcolm and Crew and I am looking forward to my next time on board Freya.

Dear Malcolm, Christmas in the Cayman Islands! What a great end to a wonderful sailing and diving trip. The passage from Bonaire was great. Whales, Dolphins, Pirate boat and fun sailing at night. Always an adventure on Freya.
Best wishes in 2016
Until the next time...

Dear Malcolm, what a beautiful sailboat you have. Thanks for a wonderful week filled with friendship, great food, conversation and music! I hope next time to see it in action, the week went by way too fast.

Christmas with my extended family.... and in the clear blue of Grand Cayman. I am so glad you cajoled me just enough to get my Open Water Diving Certification this time around. What a great new world of adventure awaits. It was so good to be back on Freya with old and new acquaintances.
Thanks so much as always, till we share adventures again.
Fair winds and following seas.

Four months of our adventures we'll remember for so many reasons.
As complete novices to yachts and sailing we've learned so much.
Everyday's a school day on Freya!.
We've met some awesome people and visited some truly beautiful places.
Can't say we are fans of long passages and night sailing but we can say we've done it and are thankful that Malcolm sails to the competency of his crew.
Safe sailing and happy trails to all that visit Freya.

2016 Seven Mile Beach Grand Cayman - 2016 Marigot Bay St Martin
Sailing on Freya for the second time!
70+ days starting in Grand Cayman ending in St Martin.
The visit to Cuba was fun on land, visiting Havana,Trinidad, Cienfuegos and Santiago de Cuba but the south coast beaches and snorkeling was disappointing. Cuba should be experienced by land not sea.
After an 8 day sail to Puerto Rico I have decided overnights are not a good fit for me.
The last 30 days in the USVI's and BVI's were great - beautiful beaches and snorkeling. My favourite spots were Culebra, Jost Van Dyke, The Baths & St Martin.
It's always great to meet with crew and become friends!
Thank you Malcolm for sharing your home again!

I had a great time and met some wonderful people. I appreciate the effort to get us to the best snorkeling sites.
Thank you for the sail.

I had a great time sailing the Caribbean and snorkeling at some great sites. My favourite part of the boat was being able to sleep on deck under the stars in fresh air any night I wanted to (if it wasn't raining of course).
The crew we sailed with were very helpful in getting us accustomed to the various tasks required on board as well as teaching us the rules of the road while sailing.
looking forward to my next sailing trip.

A spontaneous decision to book two and a half weeks on Freya turned into an amazing adventure that we'll never forget!
Thank you for sharing your home with us and knowledge of sailing. Diving in Statia are two dives that will surely remain some of the best for us and the diving in Saba we'll always remember for entirely different reasons! Diamond Rock!
We wish we could stay longer but suppose there is no better place to end our trip than on beautiful Antigua.
Thank you Malcolm and perhaps we'll see you out on the water someday from our boat!
Happy sailing

From the moment I contacted Captain Malcolm I was impressed with his professional and organized approach to taking on crew. The initial impression was only the tip of the iceberg, the man is a consummate sailor, planner & a kindred soul.
My adventure on Freya was a confirmation that this is the life I want to lead and I thank Malcolm and my crew-mates for making my  two weeks aboard an experience to remember. We had two marvelous sails (wish it were more) and I learned much about sailing & the lifestyle that enabled Malcolm to live the dream. Freya performed beautifully to the specs & requirements Malcolm so dutifully prepared her for & it is clear Captain & Ship have a mutual respect & love for each other as it should be. I look forward to future contact and future experiences with Malcolm as he is a fountain of knowledge and preciously shares his joy and perspective.
He had his way and it worked. That may sometime be a little jarring but he is consistently right and  always aware of the most effective methods for the situation at hand. Whilst my style might differ in my own future endeavours, there is no doubt there is no doubt I will continue to benefit and learn from what I experienced these two weeks and am most thankful I took the position to serve under him.
I feel more prepared for my upcoming Atlantic crossing, have made a friend for life in Malcolm and loved being part of a team with Pam, Nancy, Doug & Albert.
I will stay in touch & share my future adventures.
Fair winds and Godspeed
