Itinerary - mid May to 10th June
After completing a re-fit Freya will make passage to Plymouth where she
will be provisioned and await a favourable
weather window to cross the Bay of Biscay to arrive in Gibraltar by no later
than 11th June. Depending on the
timing we may
stop at a number of ports en-route either on the english south coast or
Portugal.
Gibraltar to The
Lipari Islands - Vulcano, Stromboli; Taormina (Sicily) then Corfu - Greece.
Itinerary - 28th June to 14th September
Cruising the Northern Ionian Sea between Corfu and Zakynthos, Peloponnese and Aegean Islands - Greece
Itinerary - 13th September to 21st October
Cruising the coastline between Bodrum and Antalya - Turkey
Itinerary - 21st October - Freya returns to Simi - Greece
Itinerary - 23rd October - Freya arrives in Kos - Greece, for her winter berth
Notes:
Once we arrive in the
Northern Ionian, the specific Itinerary on a week by week basis will be decided
by the Skipper and the current crew bearing in mind the leaving and joining
destinations of a crew change. This will give us the flexibility to stay longer
in different locations and explore places of interest.
On a crew change date Freya will always be in a location that is
easily accessible by local transport (Bus, Taxi, Ferry) to and from the nearest
airport.
